Cat Leads Rescuers To Spot Where Man Fell Over Waterfall

El Dorado County, CA – A cat is being credited for helping to save a man’s life in El Dorado County. According to the El Dorado County Fire Protection District, a man went over a 30-foot waterfall on the night of February 21.

As reported by CBS News, when family members realized that the man was missing, they began searching for him with the help of a neighbor. The family’s outdoor cat was meowing and was able to lead the people who were searching right to the spot where the man fell.

Rescuers with the Fire Protection District retrieved the man and he was flown to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment; no word on the man’s condition.
