Bronx, New York – A so called “wannabe rapper,” has been arrested after violently beating a cat to death in what is being called a ritualistic sacrifice. On Thursday, 26-year-old David Mosley, aka Church of Ububal, was arrested on charges of two counts of criminal mischief, one count of aggravated cruelty to animals, one count of torturing/injuring/not feeding an animal and one count of disposal of dead animals.
Animal lovers were horrified when Mosley posted photos of the dead cat on his since deleted Instagram account. He also threatened to “sacrifice” another cat on Halloween.
When confronted by outraged social media users, Mosley tried to play off the cat’s death as a “parlor trick,” and said the cat was already dead when his content was filmed.
Reddit users sought to identify the man, posting an image of Mosley and writing, “Help identify this cat killer,” and adding, “URGENT CALL TO ACTION. This suspect has been identified by online sleuths after he posted a picture of a cat he had tortured and killed for satanic ritual purposes (you can see the word “satan” spray-painted on the wall behind him in the last photo). The suspect posted a live video two days ago where he stated he plans on killing another cat for ritual purposes on Halloween (10/31)”
Zion’s Mission Animal Rescue also sought to warn others about the alleged cat killer.
