On Sunday, singer Billie Eilish let the world know that she is mourning the loss of her beloved dog, Pepper. According to an Instagram post created by the Grammy winner, Pepper was 15 years old. Eilish, who is 21, grew up with the adorable white and black dog.
Her post confirms what all dog lovers know…losing a beloved companion is hard.
She said:
pepper. my life long best friend. i will see you again someday sweet girl. you made it 15 years you f*king beast. :’) i love you. rest easy mama, i’ll miss you forever.🫀this is a really hard day
The popular singer/songwriter shared several photos of her treasured friend, showing the dog as a pup, and Eilish as a child; their deep bond is clearly evident.
Saying goodbye is never easy. Rest in peace Pepper.
