Beautiful Senior Shepherd Has Days To Live At Shelter

Pasadena, TX – A handsome, senior German shepherd named Stone is urgently in need of help to avoid being euthanized. Eight-year-old Stone is at the Pasadena Animal Shelter and he is scheduled to be euthanized on March 12.

A volunteer writes:

I don’t know how we’ll find a foster,
rescue, or home for a senior (8 yrs) large dog. He needs your help.
I spent some with Stone this past weekend, I took these pics. This week he’s on the URGENT ‼️ LIST scheduled for 3/12/24 2pm

Sharing Stone’s physical condition, and demeanor:

Stone was in a home but he came back in very thin, you can feel his bones. He really needs a home that cares. Stone was an absolute sweetheart on our walk. His shelter notes say he’s very depressed in the kennel. When I had him outside he was like a pup again. He enjoyed the yard. Said hello to the staff passing by and even was friendly to the Great Pyrenees in the next yard to him.

This sweet boy deserves better. He should be enjoying the twilight of his life in the company of a loving family, but instead, he is in an animal shelter where a time stamp has been placed on his life.
