Downey, CA – A stunningly beautiful German shepherd named Siri has given birth to a litter of puppies at the Downey Animal Control facility and she is doing her utmost to keep them safe. But the shelter is loud and stressful, and it is no place to raise newborn puppies.
Yesterday, an advocate wrote:

She needs to get them safe in a loving Rescue who will help keep them safe and grow up to be model German Shepherd Citizens.
And to help her find a forever home too.
Shelter facilities are breeding grounds for sickness, and these newborn puppies need to be in a safe, quiet, clean environment.
