Detroit, Michigan – A puppy narrowly escaped death after someone abandoned her in a wire cage in Detroit. According to Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue, the puppy, since dubbed Grace, was starved and near death when they got the call about an abandoned dog.
The rescue group said:

Grace was rushed to a veterinarian for emergency care. Her bloodwork was “a mess” and she vomited “a ton of bones and debris” indicating she was eating anything and everything in an effort to survive.
Grace is showing signs of improvement, but she is not out of the woods yet. The rescue group is hoping that someone can provide more information about who she belonged to.

The group said:
Please… if you recognize Grace and have information to provide, email us at Detroitpitcrew@hotmail.com or you can text us at 248-906-9022.
