Houston, Texas – On Saturday, a young dog was rescued from a dumpster where he was apparently abandoned. Residents of the Allen Parkway Village discovered the abandoned dog and reached out to Fur A Pawsitive Future to see if they could help, reports Click2Houston News.
Rescue volunteers responded to the scene and were able to get the dog to go into a lowered crate which was lifted out of the dumpster. A volunteer took the dog home for one night and then he was turned over to BARC to be put on a stray hold.
The police are investigating to see who is responsible for abandoning the dog in the dumpster.
