Downey, CA – A charming, senior German shepherd finds himself homeless in the twilight of his life. The 10-year-old dog, named Conner, has been at the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Downey facility since May 18, and a shelter volunteer has announced that his “final plea” to leave will be coming soon.
According to Conner’s advocate, he struggles with his back legs and though the shelter is doing its best to keep him comfortable, the conditions are not ideal for a senior dog.

Being held in an animal shelter kennel run is stressful for any dog. It is even worse for a senior dog with arthritis and/or mobility issues. Conner deserves to be spending the remainder of his life in the company of a person, and the comfort of a home. Most of all, he deserves to live out the rest of his life…
Please help Conner by sharing his adoption information. Networking saves lives!
