Richland Center, WI – A shy cat named Darren has been homeless for more than eight years. In fact, the “gentle couch potato” has been at the Ocooch Mountain Humane Society for most of his life.
In mid-March, a Wisconsin Facebook page that helps promote pets waiting for homes shared Darren’s story, writing:
Time in Shelter: 8 years (2015)
Adoption Fee: SPONSORED BY A GENEROUS FOLLOWER
Meet Darren! He’s located at Ocooch Mountain Humane Society in Richland Center, WI. He arrived at the shelter when he was only a year old.He enjoys quiet afternoons basking in the sun. Darren is a sweet but very shy boy that has been at the shelter for almost his entire life. He’s fearful of new people and would be most comfortable in a quiet home without young children or other pets. Please contact OMHS if you’re the kind & patient family he’s been waiting for!
Will you please help Darren find a real home? Simply sharing his story will help!
