Bishop, CA – A $7,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of whoever is responsible for killing a foal on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) managed land in Mono County, CA.
In a news release from BLM, more information about the incident is provided:
On June 6, the BLM received a report of a dead foal found on BLM land east of Mono Lake in Mono County, California. The foal was from the Montgomery Pass Wild Horse Herd. While the Inyo National Forest manages this horse herd, the crime took place on BLM-managed land.
A necropsy revealed the foal was shot and died from the wound.
