San Gabriel, CA – For more than 600 days, a handsome dog named Bartok has waited for someone to choose him. Bartok is with the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society which posted a plea on his behalf this week:

We love many things about Bartok (the way he gently takes treats, the way he leans in for a hug, the crimpy hair on his ears, the list goes on…) but we can’t wait for a very lucky family to appreciate all those things and more!

What a sad and shameful thing that perfect lovely animals like Bartok go unadopted for years. He looks like a hudky/golden retriever mix, and anyone with a “vacancy” in their home should be grateful to have him as their own. I pray that he gets his own PERFECT home real soon…they of course must screen people THOROUGHLY and follow up with them.
