Seattle, Washington – Pasado’s Safe Haven has announced the offering of a $5,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and prosecution of the person responsible for torturing and killing a cat. According to the organization, the indoor/outdoor cat appears to have been abducted, tortured and killed before being dumped in a Euro Car Service Dumpster on June 30.
The animal welfare agency said:
HELP NEEDED: A cat has been found murdered in Seattle’s University District. Pasado’s is offering a $5,000 reward for tips leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible.
DETAILS: On June 30, 2026, Seattle Animal Control responded to a deceased cat found in a Euro Car Service dumpster at NE 59th St and Roosevelt Way NE. The indoor/outdoor cat appears to have been abducted, tortured, and killed. Security cameras captured an unidentified person transporting the cat around 4:50 a.m. on June 30.
