Los Angeles, CA – A family’s dog was killed when a UPS driver tossed a heavy package over their fence. According to KOLD News, Naria Harutjunjan’s rescue dog, Lulu, was outside last Wednesday when the UPS driver arrived with a package.
Harutjunjan says the man did not ring the bell, he just tossed the 55-lb package over their gate. The package landed on Lulu and she died, her owner said, “I took the package, and I saw my dog. She couldn’t move anymore.”
Lulu was rushed to an area veterinarian where she was pronounced dead.
UPS has issued a statement about the deadly incident:
“We recently learned of the situation in North Hills. We are certainly concerned and will contact the customer. We will investigate and take appropriate action.”
Lulu’s owner is considering legal action against the driver, UPS, and Amazon.
