Midlothian, Texas – The Midlothian Fire Department is offering a $1,000 reward for the safe return of their fire house dog, Riggs. According to the department, Riggs was last seen on the afternoon of May 2.
The department wrote:
Our station cameras last saw Riggs around 2:45 PM on Friday, heading toward Highway 287. A passerby reported seeing him near the on-ramp around 3:00 PM.
Adding:
We also received a report that a small black SUV was seen attempting to stop and possibly pick up Riggs around that time. We’re not making any assumptions, but we would greatly appreciate any information about this vehicle or the person driving it. It may be someone who was simply trying to help.
Riggs was wearing a fire station badge when he disappeared and his is microchipped. If you know anything that could help, please contact Fire Station 1 at 469-672-0920 immediately.
