Lakewood, California – A family’s cat is missing after an Amazon delivery driver allegedly picked her up and took her after dropping off a package last week. The disturbing incident was captured on Diane Huff Medina’s Ring video and it shows the man picking the cat, Piper, up by the scruff of her neck and walking away.
On December 14, Huff Medina issued a public Facebook post about the incident, writing:
An Amazon delivery person took our cat, Piper, after he dropped off a package on Thursday evening. We just want her back home safely. We are working with Amazon and local law enforcement, but haven’t had much support in getting help from either one.
On Wednesday, she said the responsible person was identified and charged, but Piper is still missing. An Amazon spokesperson issued a statement to Fox 11 News, “The Amazon Flex delivery partner in question is no longer eligible to deliver to our customers. We’re in touch with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office to share relevant information with them and we’ll continue to support their investigation.”
Anyone who has information about Piper’s whereabouts should reach out to the local authorities, either the Lakewood Sheriff’s Department or the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office.

Your cat or dog should never be unattended or allowed to free roam. Today when human and animal alike are subject to the whims and cruelties of human beings, one should take extra care of those who are voiceless and helpless. Dogs and cats must be kept indoors unless monitored by their humans. Cats and dogs must not be allowed free access to the outdoors. And if you think that’s cruel, you haven’t been reading the news lately. There are those who get their jollies and anger released by subjecting your little ones to violence that often kills. I have had cats for over 45 years and not one of them ever was allowed to free roam. And not one of them ever turned down a chance at a soft couch pillow, good food and being near a loved one.
torture the guy until he tells what he did with the cat he stole. PEOPLE, DON’T let your animals out unattended. Sickness is everywhere.
