Ashland, Virginia – A rowdy raccoon had a few too many drinks on Black Friday and had to be rescued from the bathroom floor of an Ashland, Virginia, ABC Store. According to the Hanover County Animal Protection agency, Officer Martin responded to a break-in at the store on Saturday morning.
Much to her surprise, the culprit was a drunk raccoon who ransacked the store (targeting a lot of liquor!!) before passing out in the bathroom. In a quippy social media post, the agency said:
Officer Martin safely secured our masked bandit and transported him back to the shelter to sober up before questioning. After a few hours of sleep and zero signs of injury (other than maybe a hangover and poor life choices), he was safely released back to the wild, hopefully having learned that breaking and entering is not the answer.
You know this poor little guy had to have the worst headache when he woke up!
