Manatee County, FL – An animal cruelty investigation has been opened in Manatee County following the discovery of three abandoned cats, left alongside a road in a metal cage; one of the cats did not survive. On August 5, the Manatee County Animal Welfare Agency said:
On July 29, MCAW officers responded to a report of an abandoned crate on the side of Lena Road. Inside were three cats: two alive but in poor condition, and one deceased. Evidence suggests the surviving cats may have attempted to consume the deceased animal in an effort to stay alive.
The surviving cats are receiving veterinary care at the Bishop Animal Shelter. They are undergoing a slow, medically supervised refeeding process to prevent complications associated with severe starvation. The agency said the cats are “incredibly sweet, friendly, and affectionate” with staff despite the trauma they have endured.

The organization is hopeful that a member of the public will come forward with information about this cruelty case. Anyone with information is asked to reach out to the Manatee County Animal Welfare agency by calling 941-742-5933.

The monster responsible deserves the same treatment.
Bring back the death penalty for these psychotic abusers
Too much animal cruelty and NOT ENOUGH police attention and then not enough prison for those guilty. These evil doers are not human, they are inflicted by satanic forces. They have psychopath DNA passed down through generations.
