Raleigh, NC – A cat being housed at a North Carolina animal shelter is beating the heat in a unique manner. The cat, Oink, lost most of his fur when groomers had to clip away mats, but he is making the most of his naked self.
The SPCA of Wake County says,
Oink is an innovator. While most of us are surviving summer by enjoying the air-conditioning and eating ice cream, Oink is beating the heat by being nakey. Good job Oink.
The shelter adds:
He just makes biscuits and gives elevator butt the whole time. He is a beautiful naked man, and he is nothing if not a good sport.
The shelter’s humorous post also reminds area residents of a big, upcoming adoption event where Oink and others will be available to potential adopters:
Friday, August 1st is Clear the Shelters! All adoption fees are WAIVED here at SPCA Wake, and we are open for extended hours (8am to midnight)! It’s the perfect time to bring an unclothed, scrungly Oink home—maybe, just maybe, with enough emotional support from his people, he’ll decide to put clothes on again.
