Moreno Valley, CA – A beautiful German shepherd puppy is facing possibly euthanasia at a California animal shelter. The four-month-old puppy, George, has multiple injuries from being hit by a car. Medical reports from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter show the puppy suffered a dislocated left hip, neurological deficits in both hind legs, and a fractured tooth — likely all from being hit by a car. The most urgent issues are hip stabilization and monitoring for nerve/spinal damage, which may or may not improve with time. Prognosis depends on how the nerves recover in the coming days to weeks.
Though George is in a great deal of pain from his injuries, shelter staff notes his friendly, affectionate personality:
* Super Sweet
* Friendly and affectionate
* Gives kisses and begs for attention
George needs a miracle right now. You can lend him a hand by sharing his adoption information. The goal is for this information to reach a rescue group with the means to fundraise for George’s veterinary care and get him into a safe foster home.

He is so beautiful, despite what happened to his precious ear. Eyes of an angel right there. I wish I was younger and could give him a secure life for 15 years or so. I hope and pray that his most perfect people show up and take him to their wonderful, loving home forever.
