San Bernardino, CA – A sweet old boy named Bear is at risk of being put down at the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter. The nine-year-old shepherd was taken in at the facility in February, but nobody came to claim him.
In March, a shelter advocate wrote a plea on Bear’s behalf:
NOW ON EUTHANASIA LIST
City of San Bernardino Animal Services
#a545620 Staff named this handsome mature gentleman “Bear” He arrived as a stray on 2/27/25. His owner never came to take him home. Bear is a special dog who deserves a special human with whom to share his golden years.
And still, over a month later, Bear remains unclaimed.
You can help change Bear’s life by taking a moment to network his adoption information. Bear is in the twilight of his life, and he deserves to know the comfort of a soft bed, the peace of a fully belly, and the joy of being loved.
