Update 9/22/2024: Rescued! Thanks for sharing.
San Bernardino, CA – A terrified puppy is slated to die at a crowded animal shelter in California. The seven-month-old pup, Knuckles, is on the San Bernardino City Animal Control euthanasia list because she is scared.
Her advocate writes:
She’s only 32 pounds. These are the notes on why she was recommended for euthanasia
9/11/24: Behavior in kennel, “Hiding in rear of kennel, lying pressed against the wall. Body and tail tightly tucked underneath her, ears back”
Killing a puppy who is justifiably terrified is beyond comprehension, but it is the reality of what is happening in overcrowded animal shelters across the nation. Please take a moment to network this puppy’s adoption information. Your “share” may be the one that saves her life.
Knuckles deserves to live her life. She deserves to know what it means to be safe and loved. She most definitely does NOT deserve death.
