Update: Rescued!!
San Bernardino, CA – A two-year-old husky was badly injured when three of her kennel mates at the San Bernardino City Animal Control facility attacked her. The incident left Cassandra with a dislocated hip and neck wounds…and a spot on the facility’s euthanasia list.
Her advocate writes:
HER HIP WAS DISLOCATED AND SHE SUFFERED NECK PUNCTURES AND LACERATIONS AFTER BEING ATTACKED BY HER 3 KENNEL MATES. NOW SHE IS ON THE EUTHANASIA LIST AT City of San Bernardino Animal Services BECAUSE OF THEIR FAILURE TO KEEP HER SAFE.
It is not Cassandra’s fault that she was attacked and injured, and she surely doesn’t deserve to be killed as a result. Please take a moment to network her adoption information to help save her life.
