Waco, TX – A regal, senior German shepherd named Tank is waiting at the City of Waco Animal Services facility for a hero. This handsome boy may be past his prime, but he still carries himself in a dignified manner.
The Humane Society of Central Texas has posted Tank’s information to Facebook, writing:

This sweet, sweet old man needs a savior. That’s all there is to say.
Tank Velero (A111033) was once a majestic dog. He still carries himself as stately, but time has taken its toll on him, and living in a noisy, upsetting shelter at the end of his life certainly isn’t kind.
Tank is frightened inside his kennel, but once outside, he walks like a proud gentleman on a leash. He apparently is potty trained. As soon as he gets a break, he’ll take care of his business outside.
