A video posted to TikTok earlier this week is racking up thousands of views among viewers who are enamored by a curious cat’s encounter with an injured fawn. The Meow_Squad uploaded the video showing a Savannah cat gently pawing at a tiny fawn curled up on a soft bed.
The cat’s owner explains that the fawn was found in his backyard, and the cat, named Magic, “gave him comfort” until wildlife professionals arrived.
Over 2050 people left comments, ranging from, “This is so precious,” to “Awwwwww he’s so sweet and curious lol ❤️that poor baby deer lost his mama you’re awesome to help him ❤️.” And over 840,000 people liked the viral video.
Many people expressed concern for the young fawn and the cat’s owner updated the post to let them know that the baby has a broken leg.
Fortunately, the injured fawn wound up in the right backyard, with a kind human and a gentle cat. Two days ago the same account said that the baby is doing good, and wildlife professionals came to get him.
